HOW WE DID IT

A brand-new website that out-ranks bigger, older competitors.

When The MedSpa of DFW came to us, they had everything a patient wants in person — Elaine Ewing, a PA-C with 18 years of experience and a national trainer for EuroThreads, plus nurse injector Leannza, RN. What they didn’t have was visibility. On Google, the big Dallas names and a national chain owned every search. Fighting them head-on for “medspa Dallas” would take years.

So we didn’t fight head-on. We built a content engine around the exact treatments patients search for before they book — and let that depth pull the whole site up to the top terms. This is the medical spa SEO approach behind it: today the site ranks for 288 keywords, and 92% of them sit on page one.

💡

The key insight: Instead of fighting a national chain for one vanity term, we ranked for every individual treatment and question — “pdo thread lift cost,” “2 ml of lip filler,” “neck thread lift cost.” Higher intent, lower competition, real bookings. The head term followed on its own.

THE CHALLENGE

A great clinic that Google couldn’t see.

The Dallas–Fort Worth medspa market is crowded and competitive. The top of the search results was held by a national chain (Medspa of Dallas) and by local sites with years of authority behind them — Dermani Medspa, Viva Day Spa, North Texas Plastic Surgery. Their websites scored a Domain Rating of 40–53. A new Grapevine clinic simply can’t out-muscle that with links and age.

⚠️

The authority gap was real. Competitors had Domain Ratings of 40–53 and years of backlinks. The MedSpa of DFW’s pages scored just 4–5. Going after “medspa Dallas” by brute force was never going to work — at least not directly.

So we made a decision: win the treatment searches first. Build deep, genuinely helpful pages for every procedure the clinic offers, tie each one to Grapevine and Southlake, and answer the exact questions patients type before booking. Authority would build from the ground up.

OUR STRATEGY

Six moves that built the rankings.

This is the same medspa SEO method we run as a medical spa marketing agency for every practice — adapted to The MedSpa of DFW’s treatments and city.

1

Cornerstone treatment pages, anchored to the city

One in-depth page per treatment — thread lifts, lip filler, botox brow lift, hormones, peptides — each tied to “Grapevine/Southlake, TX.” Geo-anchoring turns national how-much searches into local, bookable patients.

2

Topic clusters, not single pages

We didn’t write one thread-lift page. We built seven interlinked pages around it — cost, types, before-and-after, jowls, neck — so Google sees deep expertise on the whole topic. That one cluster now owns 192 keywords.

3

Answer-first writing for Google & AI

Every page opens with the direct answer — the price, the timeline, the number. That exact-match sentence is what Google lifts into Featured Snippets and AI Overviews. It’s why the site is cited in Google’s AI answer for 45 searches.

4

Real cost tables and comparisons

Patients searching “thread lift cost” want numbers. We gave them honest comparison tables — thread lift vs facelift vs botox vs fillers — with price, downtime, and how long results last. Useful for patients, and tables win extra search real estate.

5

FAQ blocks for voice and “People Also Ask”

Each page ends with the real questions patients ask. That captured 281 People Also Ask” placements and feeds voice search and AI assistants the clean answers they pull from.

6

Provider authority (E-E-A-T)

We put the clinic’s credentials front and center — Elaine Ewing, PA-C, a national trainer for EuroThreads. Google rewards real medical expertise on health pages, and patients trust it. Expertise is a ranking factor, not just a nice-to-have.

THE PAGE FORMULA · OUR IP

Anatomy of a page that ranks for 165 keywords.

One page — the PDO thread lift cost page — ranks #1 for “thread lift cost” (1,900 searches/mo) and pulls in 165 keywords on its own. It’s the most-visited page on the whole site. Here’s exactly how it’s built, element by element, and why each part earns rankings.

PDO Thread Lift Cost in Grapevine/Southlake, TX

WHY IT RANKS

Tells Google in one line exactly what the page answers and where — the single biggest on-page signal.

2

WHY IT RANKS

This exact sentence is what Google lifts into Featured Snippets and AI Overviews. Lead with the answer and you get quoted.

Answer-first opening sentence

The page leads with the literal answer, no warm-up.

“A PDO thread lift typically costs $1,500–$4,500…”

3

A real cost-comparison table

Thread lift vs facelift vs botox vs fillers — price, downtime, how long it lasts.

Facelift $7.5k–$15k · Thread lift $1.5k–$4.5k · Botox $400–$900

WHY IT RANKS

Tables earn extra SERP space and answer “is it worth it?” — keeping readers on the page, which Google rewards.

4

WHY IT RANKS

Each variation becomes its own long-tail keyword. This is how one page ranks for 165 terms, not one.

Cost-factor breakdown

5

WHY IT RANKS

“Do you charge for a consultation?” · “Can I treat one area?”

5

WHY IT RANKS

Turns national how-much traffic into local patients — and gives them a reason to book here.

City named throughout + local trust

“Grapevine/Southlake, TX” woven in naturally, plus complimentary consult and transparent pricing.

free consultation · transparent pricing · financing

.🏆

The repeatable formula: exact-match title → answer in sentence one → comparison table → cost/variation breakdown → FAQ → local trust. We apply this same skeleton to every treatment page. It’s why pages rank fast and rank wide.

TOPIC CLUSTERS

Why one cluster owns 15,240 monthly searches.

We don’t rank a treatment with a single page. We surround it. The thread-lift cluster is seven interlinked pages — each targeting a different search intent — that together dominate the topic and lift each other’s authority.

The chain wins “medspa Dallas” because everyone knows its name. But when a patient searches the treatment question that comes right before booking, our client is usually the only one of the three with an answer. We also checked 100 competing pages: the average is just 774 words and 38 are under 500. Thin pages lose. Deep, helpful pages win.

WHY IT’S NEXT

THE BIG LESSON

You don’t need a national brand to beat one.

Most agencies will tell a new medspa to wait years for authority, or to outspend the competition on ads. The MedSpa of DFW proves there’s a better path. You win by being the most helpful, most specific answer for every treatment a patient searches — anchored to your city, written for both Google and AI.

Content beat authority. A brand-new website with a Domain Rating of 4–5 now sits at #3 for the toughest term in Dallas, holds 60 first-place rankings, and gets quoted in Google’s AI answers — all because we built the right pages, the right way, for the right searches. That’s the difference between buying medspa marketing and buying patients. It’s the medspa SEO outcome every clinic actually wants: deep, intent-matched content that compounds, with no paid ads carrying it.

MEDSPA SEO — YOUR QUESTIONS

Common questions from medspa owners.

How did The MedSpa of DFW rank on page 1 for “medspa Dallas”?

By building a large library of helpful, geo-anchored treatment pages — one for each question patients search before booking, like “pdo thread lift cost.” That depth earned Google’s trust and pulled the whole site to #3 for “medspa Dallas,” ahead of bigger competitors.

How long does medspa SEO take to work?

SEO compounds rather than working instantly. Early treatment pages usually start ranking within a few months and build from there. This site now ranks for 288 keywords, 142 of them brand new — proof the growth keeps stacking.

Do I need a big, expensive website to rank my medspa?

No. These pages score a Domain Rating of just 4–5, yet beat competitors at 40–53. What wins is content built around what patients actually search, tied to your treatments and city — not a huge link budget.

Can SEO get my medspa into Google’s AI answers and ChatGPT?

Yes. The same clear, answer-first pages that rank on Google also get quoted by AI answers. This medspa is already cited in Google’s AI Overview for 45 searches.

Can Intellius Medical do this for my medspa?

Yes. We’re a medical spa marketing agency in Dallas, and medspa SEO like this is exactly what we do. We run the same method for medspas across the US, and we start with a free audit of your site, your Google presence, and your competitors.
